We feel really lucky to have found Laura and Dave. As childminders, they are an extension of our own family and our daughter couldn’t be in better hands.
Laura has been great support through milestones like potty training and starting pre school and they make sure that there are plenty of opportunities to socialise with other children through toddler groups and the links they have built with other childminders in the area.
We highly recommend Laura and Dave and hope they’ll remain part of our daughters childcare as she progresses to school.
Laura has been childminding our two girls age 6 and 8 for the last four years. She cares for them after school for 4 days each week.
I have been extremely happy with the care they have received. Laura’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and the girls have great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care.
Beyond all this though, it is Laura’s warm and friendly approach which sets her apart from other childminders we considered using.
Ruby has come on leaps and bounds since being with Laura and Dave. As a first time parent, I was wary about leaving my daughter with “strangers” but after the initial period of letting go I realized that we had made the right decision.
Ruby has improved so much with her confidence and speech which I put down to mixing with other kids of different ages and the effort of Laura and Dave – everyone comments on what a happy little girl she is.
If we had another kid I would not hesitate to use them again. Would recommend using a childminder over nursery as they give more one to one time.
